Purpose. Increased resistance of outcrops in production taking into account the ways of development of the effect of the mining-and-geological and mining-and-technical factors of mining operation. Methodology. There have been applied the following methods: comparative analysis, mathematical modeling and forecasting. Findings. There have been introduced the results of experimental-industrial works to reduce swelling of the subsoil in different mining operation conditions, observing and monitoring the manifestations of rock pressure, bedrock deformation, the displacement of host rocks on the side of workings and roof. Different types of timbering have been applied considering the complicating factors of mining, taking into account the geomechanical conditions of conducting and maintaining workings. It is recommended to apply a technology to maintain the bedrock that will improve the stability of rock outcrops in the development considering the ways of manifestation of the effect of geological and mining factors of mining. Originality. An anchoring technology has been worked out aimed at reducing the swelling of the subsoil in different mining conditions, while using different types of timbering considering all the complicating factors of mining, as well as taking into account the geomechanical conditions of operation and maintenance of workings. Practical value. It is recommended to make an installation of anchors into the soil in advance of the following effect of confounding factors (bearing pressure zone in front of the lava, and others), mainly in the district workings exposed to mining operations (extraction front, overworking and underworking zones, zones with increased rock pressure). It is also recommended to collar the inclined holes under the anchors inclined at an angle 20 - 40<^>o to the vertical. The length of the holes is calculated considering their technical capability of drilling and is assumed to be 1,6, 2,4 and 2,9 m with a cross installation of the anchors.

Purpose. Developing a technology with rope anchors hardening a roof of workings supported with steel-polymeric anchors which will exclude the roof collapse cases in zones of the increased mining pressure. Methodology. Solving problems is based on systematic analysis and generalization of theoretic and industrial domestic and foreign experience in the field of development of technological schemes of mining roadways in stratified and ore mineral deposits; data modeling of strata pressure allocation, defectiveness and stability of rock massif; analytical researches of efficient application of technological innovations; experiments in real industrial conditions. Findings. The two-level technology of supporting extraction workings based on accounting geomechanics of stressed-and-strained state of rocks around the workings with determining the optimum parameters of roof bolting depending on the influencing mining technological factors. Originality of the methods proposed in the work consists in the following: the design capability to perceive loading without delays, a great load bearing capacity, prevention of the shift and stratification of the roof rocks, formation of domes and rock inrushes; reducing methane gas emission into the working, enhanced durability of the support and increased between-repairs resource, as well as the reached economic efficiency due to the cost reduction for working support and repair. Practical value. Depending on the characteristic of the roof rocks, a way of supporting the roof rocks is developed with an anchor bridge.

Purpose. Developing technological solutions for strengthening the weakened zone of rocks when crossing the tectonic breach zone by development workings (before entering and after exiting the breach) ensuring increased stability of rocks and reducing outburst risk. Methodology. Building a computational model of the unstable volume of rocks under investigation that are separated from the massif by weakening contacts, which is a mathematical representation of spatial distribution of breaches, workings, layers of rocks and coal layers. Numerical simulation for determining the load on working supports, for assessing the state of unstable roof spans that are in the zones of influence of disturbed (weakened) zones of coal seams occurrence. Findings. Technological solutions for metal-frame, combined supports and roof bolting for workings with different degrees of breach (weakening) of the rock massif are proposed, the expediency of driving workings through the broken areas using a combined supporting scheme with strengthening by an additional advance support is shown. Originality. A new technological solution has been proposed for driving mine workings by mounting anchors across the intended fracture lines of the immediate roof rocks, which provides a "contoured rigid" scheme that contributes to the development of a single monolithic structure that works as a unified rock-support system in mining. Practical value. The technology consists in the fact that development mine workings driven in the damaged reservoir are supported in front of the face by steel-polymer anchors mounted into the roof and sides of the working at the entrance, along the entire length of the zone and at the entrance and exit of the breach, which develops the zones of strengthened support and reduces defectiveness of the working contours. Strengthening the weakened zone of the massif is performed at the intersection of the tectonic breach zone by the underground mine cavity (at the entrance into the breach), in order to increase stabilization in front of the massif and reduce the outburst hazard.
